Shoe technology
Having looked at many trainers on various online footwear stores (research purposes) I was overwhelmed with the amount of shoe technology jargon.
I never knew so much technology was involved in designing trainers.
It all sounds so good, and I’m sure most of the technology in the trainers produces the desired effect of increased performance.

Judging the Drapers Etail Awards 2009
I was asked to sit on the judging panel for the Drapers Etail Awards 2009. The first dedicated e-commerce awards scheme by the bible of the fashion business Drapers.
Led by Drapers editor Lauretta Roberts the judges – Myself, Zia Zareem-Slade, Julie Howell, Andy Houstoun, Rob Jones, Leisa Barnett and Peter Fitzgerald – discussed all the entries that successfully made it on to the shortlist.

Self styled as “the World’s First Virtual Shopping Mall”, MyMall (www.themall.tv) launched a few weeks ago.
According to MyMall “Search Engines can be confusing and time consuming and often result in frustration when looking for the simplest of items”.
If MyMall is right and people will find their website easier to use than search engines, they’re sitting on a goldmine.
