You’re not a full member of celebdom until you’ve had a dedicated thread that spans at least three pages on the Digital Spy forums.
The boards are awash with scathing, mindless and often hate fuelled comments that would leave celebrities, with the thickest of skins, incandescent with rage.
I did have a bit of a chuckle (albeit little) at a comment made by Rob22 in response to a post by Imogen M…

u all make me sick. cheryl is the greatest, GREATEST celeb on this planet. she is an amazing woman, who has done a lot for so many people. i think u all have something wrong with u if u think badly of Cheryl. She just sings her songs and cheers up the nation and peoples hearts. shes done more for people then any of you lot could possibly ever do. Cheryl is god damn amazing. Hi,
In all honestly i think people and the population of, dare i say it, Great Britain, exaggerate Cheryl Cole wayyyy too much it’s actually annoying me now!
1) - Why can’t she ever been decisive and honest on the “X-factor” show? : She has to cry whenever someone sings good or tells a heart-melting story/bad story of their lives? AS IF she really is that nice, no-one is that nice and to say that “being nice” is an icon for young people to look up to is just plain old BULLS- if you ask me
2) She allegedly called Charlotte Church “Fat”, which was then looked into with more detail and she admitted to calling Charlotte fat, how can this person be seen on the television as being someone who is in fact nice, when she picks on celebrities who aren’t as skinny as her ? - when she really wasn’t all that skinny judging by the picture above! whoops cheryl!
3) WHY IS SHE ON THE XFACTOR! - She can sing, but she isn’t anything extraordinary and most of the people who appear on the show are by far a better singer than her and Danii minogue put together! its hilarious!
She is nothing more than a woman who can pick amazing clothes due to the salary and income she has, can afford botox or any sort of “surgery” she wants, whenever she wants & can afford anything she wants?
Why would anyone like to be like her? Sure she’s a pretty lady but who wouldn’t be pretty if they had all that money?

She is utterly useless, she caint do anything or think for herself and she she pulls vile faces when she doesnt get what she wants. Her reaction for getting the boys on the x factor was appalling (just because she dident get what she wanted). Shes bloody useless.. end of

i hate cheryl she is too skinny ! has deffo had some plastic surgery, shes just fake fake fake all the way ! shes nothing special ! why was she chosen for xfactor...? Nichola from girls aloud would of been far better for the show as shes different and if some people didnt know, she is actually an amazing singer ! i went to see girls alud in concert this year and cheryl was a crappy singer ! i just hate her !!!!! END OF ! !!!!!!

I used to like cheryl cole but now she just really gets on my nerves...Who is she to judge on the X Factor when she can’t sing in tune? At the end of the day its the chavs who look up to her and aspire to be like her. Ok she can be attractive, but what woman wouldn’t be with all that caked make-up and surgery? Oh and tonight she’s not even singing her new solo single live. Oh yeah and when Kandy Rain sang last week, who was she to say something like ‘You dress too provocatively’, pfft she can’t talk when she staggers in those sky high heels with the microscopc dress. Eugh she’s so in love with herself.

Just to add on my previous comment. That performance on the X Factor was not fit for viewing. I will give her credit though, at least she did not mime it. It does prove however she cannot sing in tune. That outfit was just atrocious also. She was to busy worrying and getting her own performance together that she neglected her own acts which obviously was going to result in one of them going. She only cares about herself and she deserves all the negative press she has been getting lately. Oh and another thing, dont you think its selfish of her to launch her own solo career (well a pitful one) when her so called friend alexandra burke is releasing hers. Says it all really. End of
