Microsoft walks away from Yahoo deal

I was hoping Microsoft and Yahoo join up up so they could challenge Google together. Seem it’s not going to happen.

Google is doing great, with its new applications, features and services. But I suspect it would do even better if it had more serious competition in the search arena to keep it on its toes. A Microsoft Yahoo tie-up would have given it that competition.
