I can’t quite understand what the criteria is, but there are lots of good people on this list - great to see House of Fraser affiliates & vendors in the list!

Really interesting list, except you obviously missed off fashion156.com - shocker! Have also just discovered runninginheels.co.uk which looks to be going places fast.

Interesting list. But poses more questions than answers them.
Where are the independent menswear stores? Surely this is the one sector of the market which is working at a far higher level than any other? No Oki-Ni, Oi Polloi, Daniel Jenkins (biased but we are the only store focusing upon young british design talent in the UK and all run by one guy).
Good call on Susie Lau but what about her boyfriend www.stylesalvage.blogspot.com quickly becoming one of the most influential voices in British menswear.
Menswear more than any other field is quickly leaving exposure via print media behind. Men will shop more readily online than women. They always want interesting and unusual product rather than what is being pushed by Conde Nast or Grazia. Look @ the growth of the High Snobiety stable of websites.
Fashion coverage in the UK is biased towards women yet those of us who make up the other half of the population have just as much interest in clothes and spending our money.

A fantastic idea and so well executed!
I do agree with parts of Daniel’s comment about fashion coverage in the UK being biased towards women but I think it will take some time for this to change.
Thanks Leon. Keep it up.x

Whilst i know it’s a real niche market maternity & breastfeeding clothing shouldn’t be forgotten.
~It’s a very special time in a ladies life where clothes especially can play a huge role in making a lady feel good, and celebrate her changing shape.
www.mamafeelsgood.com is a new exciting company specialising in maternity & breastfeeding tops.
Maybe next year we will be on the list!
